Personal
Dr. Engler is married and the father of two children. His wife has allergies and asthma, and both of his children have allergies; thus, he is truly able to empathize with the misery that can occur from under-treatment of these ailments.

Dr. Engler learned a couple of tricks from Herb Kelleher, founder of Southwest Airlines, who believed that the employee is number one, not the customer. Dr. Engler's philosophy: "If we treat our employees well, then our employees treat our patients like gold."
